Iran Press/West Asia: An Israeli news website said that the regime hit the camp with two made-in-US MK-84 bombs, yet Al-Mayadeen cited Palestinian sources that the commander of Al-Qassam Brigades Muhammad Deif, and his deputy are safe and sound.
Born in 1965 in Khan Younis, Muhammed Deif turned into a legend for the Palestinian nation whose homeland has been occupied by the Israeli regime for years.
Deif was a theater actor before entering the campaign to liberate Palestine from the Israeli occupation. He founded the first Islamic art group in Gaza.
The People of Palestine know him as one who has been fighting for three decades to liberate Palestine.
A firm guerilla who arranges all of the Palestinians' campaign plans against the Israeli regime while moving from house to house as he was named Deif, the guest.
Muhammad Diyab Ibrahim al-Misri, whom the Gazans call Muhammad Deif and the Hamas Resistance forces call Abu Khalid is a commander who has managed to have narrow escapes 6 times since 1998 from the US-backed assassination attempt of the Israeli regime.
Deif lost his wife and 6-month-old baby in an Israeli air strike.
Israeli officials call him the "Son of Death" since he has had narrow escapes for 6 ties from the regime's assassination attempts.
They say that Deif has not slept twice in one home. "Man in Shadow" is another name they have given to the Palestinian commander.
Mossad calls him the "commander of shadow" an ever-lasting ghost to the Israeli regime, and a strong man of high intelligence and capability for hiding himself – if he wants – planning, supervising, and making communication.
Some Israeli media have also made him a mythical figure and believe that he lost his arm and leg in the last assassination, but the new images published after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation confirm the opposite of the news.
"Start the uprising towards Palestine, not tomorrow, but right now; don't let any restrictions, borders, or system deprive you of the honor of participating in the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque," it was his first voice message after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood that made him a global figure.
Joining Hamas in 1989 and Al-Qassam Brigades in 1993, Deif was enlisted by the Israeli regime as one of the main designers of suicide operations against the regime since 1996.
He was appointed as the commander of the brigades in 2002. Digging a network of underground tunnels in Gaza, which has made the Israeli troops confused, is Deif's other work.
Deif is a charismatic leader for all Palestinians and the very person they search for after Arafat. His power of commanding is the other brilliant characteristic; he is also extraordinary in designing great and complex operations the heaviest of which was the October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
To highlight the importance of the operation a quotation can be cited from a senior analyst of Haaretz; Levinson said that even if the regime manages to assassinate Deif, nothing will change about Operation Al-Aqsa Flood because the operation he designed collapsed Israel's foundations.
Deif was a contributor to upgrading the Palestinian resistance arms; thanks to the endeavors, now Hamas has thousands of rockets, drones, and weapons that it was able to use in the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, and after 9 months it still uses the arms against the Israeli regime's attacks.
Almog Booker, a reporter for the Israeli Channel 13, said in his report yesterday: "If Muhammed Deif survives the bombs that were dropped today in Khan Yunis, he will never die."
