500,000 doses of COVID vaccine enter Iran

Tehran (IP) – Deputy head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced the entrance of 500,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine in the country.

Iran PressIran News: Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi announced that a consignment of COVID-19 vaccine containing 500,000 doses in 32 pallets had entered Imam Khomeini Airport on Saturday morning.

He added that the consignment was delivered to the Health Ministry.

According to him, 20 COVID-19 vaccine consignments consisting of 9,403,800 doses have been imported to Iran within the past 6 months.

He noted that the imported vaccines had been from different countries, including Russia, India, Italy and South Korea.
