Iran Press/West Asia: Al-Qassam Brigade forces targeted a building that Israeli forces used as a hideout in the northern Gaza area of Beit Hanoun.
The Israeli War Ministry confirmed the incident, stating that a large explosion near a building in the northern Gaza area of Beit Hanoun led to the deaths of five soldiers and injuries to ten others.
Eight of the wounded are in serious condition.
Abu Obaida, the spokesman for Hamas' armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades said that at least 10 Israeli soldiers were killed and dozens more injured in the northern Gaza Strip over the past 72 hours.
He added that Israeli fatalities incurred on the battlefield in Gaza are far more than what they officially announced.
Zionist sources confirmed that the number of Israeli soldiers killed in an operation in Beit Hanoun had risen to five, following the detonation of a building after their entry.
Israeli army in a statement announced 840 soldiers killed since the beginning of the war on Gaza including 405 since the beginning of the ground invasion in Gaza.
435 soldiers were killed in other arenas, including the ground offensive in Lebanon, 20 others in the West Bank, and around 8 soldiers killed in resistance forces missile attacks.
