Tehran (IP)- The fourth session of the trial for the shot down Ukrainian plane was held in the military court of Tehran province.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 (PS752/AUI752) was a scheduled international civilian flight from Tehran to Kyiv operated by Ukraine International Airlines. On 8 January 2020, the Boeing 737-800 flying the route was shot down shortly after takeoff, killing all 176 passengers and crew aboard.

Most of the passengers of this plane were Iranian nationals, and 32 passengers of this flight also had passports from 5 countries: Canada, Afghanistan, Ukraine, England, and Sweden.

The fourth hearing of the Ukrainian Boeing 737 crash case was held on Saturday in the presence of the defendant, the lawyers of the deceased, and the prosecutor's representative, headed by Judge Ebrahim Mehranfar, in the military court of Tehran province.

According to the media center of Iran's Judiciary, ten defendants were present in the fourth hearing of the case of the crash of the 737 plane of Ukraine.

At the beginning of the court session, "Judge Mehranfar" said about the process of holding the hearing: "In the last session, the indictment of the case was read and then some lawyers of the families of the deceased made their statements."

Judge Mehranfar emphasized that this court is determined to have a fair trial based on fairness and justice and not to go beyond neutrality.

In the continuation of the meeting, Judge Mehranfar invited the plaintiffs' lawyers to the stand and asked them to discuss the case and present their points of view in court.
