Iran Press/Iran news: The aims of the Assembly were to encourage future studies by Iranian and Arab universities, communication between Iranian and Arab students, maintaining relations between the assembly's professors in terms of study opportunities, academic diplomacy, scientific interaction, and sustainable relations.
20 universities and research institutes from Iran and 11 universities and research centers from Arab countries including Oman, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq attended the Assembly.
The Iranian and Arab universities chancellors stressed the religious commonalities, confronting Western culture, expanding dialogue in science and culture areas, envisioning the roadmap of international relations for science and research centers, and generating science in the assembly member states.
The previous three Assemblies of Iran and Arab World's Universities had been held in Tehran, Mashhad, and Tunisia.
Iran, Oman, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt are member states of the Assembly.
