Iran Press/ Iran news: ZDF correspondence, Jory Hendrik said that 4 November rally is a sign of Iran's national unity.
"4 November rally is an opportunity for Iran's leadership to show the unity in the country and also to show the protest against the (US) sanctions," the ZDF correspondence added in an interview with Iran Press.
"This is always the case when there is a threat from outside, people will unite against the threat. After all this is a strong message from Tehran to the world," the correspondence noted.
"A teenage girl who had participated in the rally criticized the US for spaying on Iran. Referring to the Japanese and Chinese's tourists' opinions, whom she talked to, the student said that they asked us to stop US aggressive policy against Iran."
"The important thing is that people should resist against the US and they should follow Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed AliKhamenei," Iranian clergyman Mohammad Shojoni said.
By saying that Shah was the US poppet, the clergyman said that Iran can destroy US warships and that is why Americans do not dare to attack Iran.
"During Iran-Iraq war, US along with European and Arab countries helped Saddam but with Iran's resistance all US plans failed," Shojoni noted.
Another participator in the rally who travel to Tehran from Shiraz said that people should back Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and follow his guidance.
He also called on Iranian people to safeguard their unity.
The 4 November (13 Aban) rallies and demonstrations, marking 'the national day of fighting global arrogance', drew to a close in Tehran and other cities, towns and villages throughout the country.
39 years ago, on this day (November 4,1979), Iranian students seized the US embassy (den of espionage) in Tehran in protest of numerous US plots against the Islamic Revolution.
On this historic day (November 4), two other vital events took place in Iran's history and the struggles of the Iranian people for freedom from foreign hegemony and domestic despotism, which are the exile of the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul) in 1964 and the killing of a large number of youths in 1978 by the former authoritarian regime.
Every year on this day, the Iranian people demonstrate national unity and coherence, participating in the national march and shouting the slogans of the Islamic Revolution which are independence, freedom, the Islamic Republic and the struggle against arrogant powers. 101/201
