Iran Press/Iran news: Sima Sadat Lari said on Saturday about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 20 in the country, 2,322 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 202,584."
595 of the new patients were hospitalized.
Fortunately, 161,384 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.
The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 115 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 9,507 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated, "2,842 patients are in intensive care units."
So far, around 1,395,675 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, Golestan, Kermanshah, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, and West Azerbaijan, are on alert.
2,842 patients are in critical condition.
