Beirut (IP) – "The coalition of enemies—the United States, the West, and their allies—is aimed at pressuring and intimidating us, but we have no fear of them," declared Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, in a powerful speech delivered on Tuesday.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah emphasized the resilience of Hezbollah in the face of growing pressure from the West and its allies. His words came as Hezbollah continues to play a central role in the resistance movement across West Asia.

Defiance Against Western Pressure

“The coalition of enemies—the United States, the West, and their allies—is aimed at pressuring and intimidating us,” Sheikh Qassem declared, “but we have no fear of them.” His statement underscored Hezbollah’s defiance against Israel and its Western backers.

Sheikh Qassem also highlighted Hezbollah’s strong ties to its leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, emphasizing the movement's unwavering commitment to the cause. "I cannot describe how we feel without the presence of our martyr, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah," he said, "but we draw power and spirit from his legacy."

Hezbollah’s Commitment to Resistance

“We are the children of Martyr Nasrallah, and we will never fear the United States, the Zionists, or any global conspiracy against us,” he stated emphatically, reinforcing Hezbollah’s unshakeable stance against its enemies.

Commemorating the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood

Marking a significant anniversary, Sheikh Qassem reminded the people that a year has passed since the "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood," which he described as a pivotal moment in the reshaping of West Asia. The operation was launched by Palestinian resistance group Hamas on October 7 last year.

Israeli Intentions and the Palestinian Struggle

Sheikh Qassem also said Israel has been using the conflict as a means to try and extinguish the resistance movement. “The goal of the Zionist occupiers, before the Al-Aqsa Flood, was to end the resistance and to carry out mass extermination of the Palestinian people,” he said, pointing to Israel's long-term strategy against Palestinians.
