Iran's interior minister:

Tehran (IP)- Iran's Interior Minister said that after the catastrophes that the United States caused in Afghanistan, which led to many problems for the people of this country, and the establishment of the new government, a large volume of migration to the borders of our country was formed.

Iran Press/Iran news: The committee for organizing foreign nationals was held on Thursday, chaired by Ahmad Vahidi, Iran's Minister of Interior, and attended by some relevant officials at the Ministry of Interior.

Ahmad Vahidi said: "Many problems had been created for the people of Afghanistan, and some came to the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran out of fear, and some due to economic collapse, and the loss of all lives, and considered Iran a safe place for themselves."

Vahidi added: "The formation of a large wave of movement of the Afghan people towards our borders caused us to try to reach them by organizing at the borders, but a number of these citizens entered the country's borders and we also acted according to Humanitarian and values and due to what we have in our religious teachings, we have avoided harsh treatment."

Referring to the fact that there is no information on the population balance of these Afghan nationals, Vahidi said that there would be a problem recognizing the population in different cities. Therefore, the census and identification of these people are on Iran's Ministry of interior agenda.

The senior government official stressed that no doubt, all foreign nationals in the country should apply within the deadline so that we can make better decisions by registering their information.
