Ebn-e-Sina research institution holds a 'Srebrenica Genocide and Role of International Institutions' conference in Sarajevo, with the attendance of university professors.

Iran Press/Europe: At the beginning of the meeting, Iran's Ambassador to Sarajevo Hossein Qelichkhan commemorated the 26th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide emphasizing that what happened in the Bosnian war were crimes and the Srebrenica genocide was a symbol of a great crime.

Qelichkhan noted: "Srebrenica [genocide] is a bitter truth, and it is never pleasant to talk about the bitter truth, but we have to discuss it to force the international community to be sensitive to such issues until we no longer witness such a crime."

He then read out the message of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on the 26th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.

Also, the head of Bosnia's Institute for missing people, Amor Masovic, said the international institutions' actions in dealing with criminals and the main perpetrators of the massacre were insufficient. 219
