Iran Press/ Middle East: Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called U.S. President Donald Trump's Middle East plan the "slap of the century" as thousands of Palestinians held protests in Gaza and the West Bank.
"I say to Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu: al- Quds is not for sale, all our rights are not for sale and are not for a bargain. And your deal, the conspiracy, will not pass," Abbas said in a televised address in Ramallah in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
In Gaza City, Palestinians burned US flags and chanted: "Trump is a fool".
A lot of protesters marched through the streets of Lebanon’s biggest Palestinian refugee camp Tuesday 28 January to reject U.S. President Donald Trump’s Middle East Plan.
Protests near US Embassy in Amman
In the Jordanian capital Amman, a huge crowd of Jordanians took part in a solidarity-stand near the U.S. Embassy amid heavy security presence. The participants chanted against the U.S. plan and accused Washington of supporting "Israeli terror" against the Palestinian people.

An AFP reporter said a large group of Palestinians confronted Israeli regime's forces near Ramallah in the West Bank, burning photos of Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel is the United States’ biggest regional ally and has vigorously been supported by successive American administrations.
