Iran Press/ Asia: They made this demand to the interim government in a rally titled 'March for Unity' at the central Shaheed Minar In Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, on Tuesday (December 31) afternoon.
The student leaders who led the mass movement said that the people of this country want a new Bangladesh. The people of Bangladesh want a new constitution.
The people of Bangladesh want reform. When the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement announced the reading of the manifesto of the July coup, the interim government announced the reading of the manifesto by all political organizations.
This announcement is a victory for the anti-discrimination student movement. I would like to say to the interim government that the declaration of the July coup must be read immediately by January 15.
The central Shaheed Minar of the capital became agitated with marches and slogans centered around the March for Unity program on the call of the anti-discrimination student movement.
The students and the crowd there demanded the execution of Sheikh Hasina and those involved in the July-August massacre. Incidentally, the anti-discrimination student movement was supposed to read the Declaration of Independence at Shaheed Minar today.
Later, when the interim government said that the declaration will be read, confusion started as to whether the declaration will be read today or not.
