Iran Press/ Iran News: With the support of the United States, the UAE, and several other countries, Saudi Arabia launched a military invasion of Yemen in March 2015 and a land, sea, and air siege.
The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has killed more than 16,000 Yemenis, injured tens of thousands, and displaced millions of them.
On Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with the Yemeni National Salvation Government ambassador, Ibrahim Mohammad al-Dailami, at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, referring to the Yemeni people's resistance to Saudi-led coalition attacks and concern over the Yemeni crisis. He stressed the need to lift the complete blockade of Yemen, establish a permanent ceasefire, and pave the way for Yemeni talks to determine the fate of the war-torn country.

The Iranian Foreign Minister added: "The Yemeni people decide their destiny with a spirit of resistance and intelligence."
The Yemeni National Salvation Government ambassador, Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Dailami, also praised the positions of the government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting Yemen and briefed Amir- Abdollahian on the temporary ceasefire process the latest developments in the country.
