Tehran (IP) - The Leader of The Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei led Eid al-Fitr Prayers in Tehran Grate Moslla on Saturday morning.

Iran PressIran news: The Grand Mosalla Mosque of Tehran, also known as the Imam Khomeini Mosalla, is a mosque in Tehran, Iran. It is used for hosting weekly Friday prayer, as well as cultural, political, educational, and worship activities, including book fairs, exhibitions, and religious ceremonies.

According to the office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Friday the 30th of Ramadan 1444 AH was announced as the last day of the Holy month of Ramadan and Saturday, and the auspicious Eid al-Fitr.

A number of Islamic countries, including Iraq, Oman, and Pakistan, also announced Saturday as Eid al-Fitr after the Shawwal crescent was not seen.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Syria, UAE and Türkiye, Egypt, Kuwait, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan announced Friday as the first of Shawwal and the day of Eid al-Fitr.
