The presidents of Iran and China in a joint statement stressed the necessity of close relations between the heads of the two countries in deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Iran PressIran news: In the past years, Iran and China have expanded their relations in three macro-levels: "political-economic", "security-defense" and "geopolitical-strategic", and the signing of the 25-year strategic document was an important step towards completing this process.

Therefore, Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who visited China on Tuesday at the official invitation of the President of the country, Xi Jinping arrived in Tehran this morning (Thursday) after meeting with the President, the Premier, and the Chairman of the National People's Congress of China.

In this regard, the Islamic Republic of Iran and China, at the end of Seyyed Ebrahim Raeesi's visit to the country, in a joint statement while firmly supporting issues related to fundamental interests and the protection of national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and honor nationals of each other, emphasized the importance of close relations between the leaders of the two countries in order to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Iran and China also emphasized the need to remove the sanctions in a verifiable way to resume the full and effective implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
