Iran Press/Iran news: Bahram Ghassemi made the remarks referring to the recent flooding in Afghanistan.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman expressed his regret about causalities and property damage as a result of flooding in various cities of Afghanistan, Iran Press reported.
Bahram Ghassemi also sympathized with the families of flood victims.
Referring to the recent flooding in both Iran and Afghanistan, he added that Iranian and Afghan peoples have always stood together, and supported each other.
Heavy rain and flooding in northern and western Afghanistan has claimed the lives of 20 people and injured hundreds of others.
The incident also killed thousands of animals and destroyed 4,000 houses. 105/211/201
