Iran Press/Iran News: In a message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the divine ascension of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), and noting the achievements of the Islamic Revolution during the past 40 years, Major General Mohammad Bagheri stated that the expansion of strategic depth and regional clout of Iran has created a new situation within the region whereby today, no problem in the West Asia region can be resolved without the participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In his message Major General Bagheri stated: "The shaping of a powerful Islamic resistance front has plunged the usurper Zionist regime into a security nightmare, despite unprecedented support for this regime from Western countries and a number of regional Arab regimes".
Major General Bagheri added: "Islam's sworn enemies, led by United States, are trying to form a grand coalition of dozens of obstinate, stubborn, and US-subservient states, but even if such a coalition is formed, it will end in disgrace, humiliation and defeat for them".

According to Iran Press, Major General Bagheri continued by saying: "The Islamic Revolution has entered its next phase of self-development and new society and civilisation building; a step that should be taken in the framework of "Revolutionary System of Government Theory" of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, through the efforts and endeavours of committed revolutionary youth, working towards the creation of a new Islamic civilisation.
In his message Major General Bagheri added: "The Iranian Armed forces and the younger generation in particular, understand their position and role in the Revolutionary system building as the main element of 'Next Step of the Revolution', and proudly announce to our enemies that the Iranian nation will never retreat from its defense capabilities and turn any threat into a golden opportunity to advance core Revolutionary values and its defensive and missile power.
Emphasising on importance of guidance of the Leader of the Revolution in encountering different plots and overcoming takfiri terrorism in the region, the Iranian commander added: "On the eve of anniversary of demise of the late founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini, we assure Iranian nation that Iran's Armed forces vigilantly and with its mastery of intelligence, will use all of its capacities and capabilities to defend independence, security and territorial integrity of the country".
Major General Bagheri reiterated: "To foil any threat from global arrogance and regional reactionary regimes, God willing, we will not hesitate a moment to fulfil our mission". 203/212/211
