Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has slammed US President, Donald Trump, for withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, during an iftar dinner on Monday.

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has slammed the Trump administration for unilaterally withdrawing from the multilateral Iran nuclear deal during an iftar (fast-breaking dinner) on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan on Monday.

Erdogan said: "We find the other signatories stating their loyalty to the agreement, despite America's withdrawal, very positive".

He also slammed countries that have nuclear weapons for threatening the world.

The Turkish president mentioned that  Tel Aviv has never denied that it possessed hundreds of nuclear warheads, and it has never allowed international inspections of its nuclear facilities.

He also said all nuclear weapons had to be dismantled and removed from the Middle East, in an apparent reference to the Israeli regime, which is the only regional entity possessing such weapons.

Turkey on Friday hosted an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul to discuss the Israeli regime’s on-going atrocities against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

At the summit, leaders of Muslim countries pledged to take “appropriate political (and) economic measures” against a few countries that follow the US, and have relocated their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds.
