IP- Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi says “the root cause” of the Red Sea tensions is the ongoing fighting in Gaza.

Iran PressAsia:  Since the start of the war in Gaza, the Yemeni army has been targeting ships carrying goods to Israel in the Red Sea.

The Yemeni army has announced that it is doing this to stop the killing of the people of Gaza by Israel.UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron in a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the Munich Security Conference on Friday discussed the latest developments in the Red Sea.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, he reiterated China’s stance, calling for an immediate ceasefire and the opening of channels for humanitarian aid into the besieged coastal enclave.

The focus of the Munich Security Conference is set to turn towards the Middle East and Israel’s war on Gaza with speeches by Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Israel’s President Isaac Herzog, as well as panels with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

“We cannot allow this humanitarian disaster to continue,” Wang said. “An international peace conference [must be held] as soon as possible to revive the two-state solution.”

The Chinese foreign minister means referring to The Two-State Solution' forming a Palestinian state alongside the Zionist regime.

the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also says there is an “extraordinary opportunity” soon for Israel to be integrated into the Middle East as Arab countries are willing to normalize ties with it.

He made the remarks at the Munich Security Conference, where he also said there is an “urgent” need to create a Palestinian state that also “ensures the security” of Israel.

The US official hinted at what the leadership of the future Palestinian state could involve by stating that there are “genuine efforts” by Arab countries to reform the Palestinian Authority.
