Iran Press/Middle East: Mossad and Saudi Arabian intelligence agents communicate well, according to Mossad's former chief, Tamir Pardo.
According to a Tasnim News Agency report, in a meeting with former CIA director Michael Morell, former Mossad chief, Tamir Pardo discussed the strength of cooperation between agents of different countries’ intelligence agencies, including Saudi Arabia.
According to Pardo, Israeli and Saudi intelligence agencies have had close cooperation and exchange of intelligence for many years.
In November and December 2017, there was a flurry of rare public confirmation of contacts between Israel and the Saudis by former Zionist General, Gadi Eisenkot, minister Yuval Steinitz and then-CIA director Mike Pompeo.
Tamir Pardo’s statement dated the Israeli-Saudi intelligence cooperation back to the period when he served as Mossad director, from 2011 until March 2016.
