The so-called US-led coalition carried out new airstrikes on Deir Ezzor, Syria, killing many women and children.

Iran PressMiddle East: Local sources told SANA in Nov. 11 that over the past few hours, warplanes of the so-called US-led coalition intensified their aggression against Hajin city in Deir Ezzor province’s eastern countryside as they targeted civilians’ houses with tens of sorties claiming the lives of at least 26 civilians, some of them women and children, in addition to inuring scores and causing huge damage to the houses.

The sources added that the number of martyrs is likely to rise due to the continued sorties and the difficulty in pulling the wounded out of the rubble, in addition to the critical health condition of many of them.

Also in Oct 20, At least 62 civilians were martyred in three massacres committed by the US-led coalition in the villages of al-Suseh and al-Bubadran in al-Bukmal region in Syria's Deir Ezzor province.

The sources noted that the coalition shells the civilians’ houses in the town intentionally under the pretext of targeting ISIS terrorists, indicating that the continued aggression launched by the coalition has displaced hundreds of civilians whose houses have been destroyed.

It happened while United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said in a press conference in New York that there is no military solution for Syria crisis.

According to the latest statistics of Deir Ezzor governorate, since the beginning of 2018, the total number of the residents in the province is 1,037,037.

After breaking the siege imposed by ISIS terrorists on the city of Deir Ezzor in early September last year, the government in cooperation with civil society organizations and professional associations have worked hard to restore life to the city and its surrounding countryside after years of terrorism.

Since it was illegally formed outside the jurisdiction of the UN Security Council in 2014, under the pretext of fighting ISIS, the alliance has been committing massacres against innocent civilians, killing hundreds of people and injuring others. 101/201
