28 civilians killed, scores injured by US-led coalition raids on Syria's eastern province of Deir ez-Zor.

Warplanes of the US-led coalition on Friday committed a massacre in al-Boukamal countryside in Deir Ezzor , killing and injuring scores of citizens mostly children and women.

The warplanes of the US-led coalition launched intensive airstrikes on the towns of al-Baghouz Foqani and al-Souseh located on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in a- Boukamal countryside.

The death toll is likely to rise as most of the wounded sustained serious injuries due to the continuous air strikes on the two towns.

It happens while United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said in a press conference in New York that there is no military solution for Syria crisis.

Massive damage caused to the two towns as dozens of the houses collapsed.

Recently, Amnesty International said the US-led coalition’s 2017 assault on Raqqa killed hundreds of civilians and reduced the city to rubble.

The so-called US-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate.
