Iran Press/Asia News: The match between Iran men's national volleyball team and Poland men's national volleyball team in the third week of Volleyball Nations League ended at Iran's northwestern city of Urmia's Ghadir stadium with a 3-2 victory for Iran.
After hitting Poland in the first and fourth sets, Iran over-shined Polish rival 15-8 in the fifth set and won the game, Iran Press reported.
With this win, Iran continues to stand at the top in the table of Volleyball Nations League.
The Iranian squad will face Russia on Sunday for the ending match of the third week of the VNL.
The 16 teams compete in a round-robin format with every core team hosting a pool at least once.
The teams are divided into four pools of four teams at each week and compete five weeks long, for 120 matches.
The top five teams after the preliminary round join the hosts of the final round to compete in the final round. 104/208
