Iran Press/Iran news: A mourning ceremony on the martyrdom anniversary of the first Shia' Imam, Imam Ali (Peace be Upon Him) was held with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in attendance on Monday.

According to Iran Press, on the 21st day of Ramadhan, marking the anniversary of the day when Imam Ali (Pbuh) was martyred, a mourning ceremony was held at the Husseiniyeh of Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) where several people were received by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
During the rituals, which were held after performing midday prayers, one of Iran's most famous eulogists, Mehdi Samavati performed a heartrending eulogy commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali(PBUH). 203/211/212
