A senior Iranian MP, and member of the national security and foreign policy commission of the Iranian parliament, has said the Europeans haven't carried out even one percent of their commitments under nuclear deal.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Wednesday, Mohammad Javad Jamali Nowbandegani said that the European signatory states have two months to do something positive and to make sure that benefits which rightfully belong to Iran are realized.

In further remarks, the member of national security and foreign policy commission of the Majlis added: "After the US withdrawal from JCPOA, exactly a year ago, Iran has honoured its commitments under the agreement, and has been patient, but unfortunately the European signatories to the deal, even though they have repeatedly claimed to preserve and maintain the JCPOA, and they have paid lip service to the nuclear deal, they haven't done anything in practice to save the accord. In fact, as foreign minister (Mohammad Javad) Zarif has indicated, the Europeans haven't even managed to carry out even one percent of their commitments under the JCPOA."

Jamali Nowbandegani added: "There have been numerous meetings between Iranian and 4+1 Group officials, and we have made our concerns clear to the other side on many occasions. When it comes to national security issues, and the vital interests of the Iranian nation, all the Iranian people and government officials are united in defending the best interests of the country and no one should expect otherwise."  101/211
