Iran's Top Military Commander visited the depths of Syria's operational areas.

Iran Press/Iran news: The head of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri met with the defenders of the Shrine, the Syrian warriors and Iranian advisers, entering Deir Ez-Zor, Al-Mayadin, and Al-Bukmal into the depths of the Syrian operations, according to Iran Press.

Maj. Gen. Bagheri, on his trip to eastern Syria, examined how the army and its popular forces operate in order to clear the remaining areas under US-backed and reactionary Arab-dominated ISIS.

Maj. Gen. Bagheri also embarked on an embankment crossing the Iraqi-Syrian border and visited this strategic highway which was only 200 meters away from the forces of the Takfiri terrorist group of ISIS.

Upon the arrival of Maj. Gen. Bagheri in the city of Al-Bukmal, UAVs and US fighters also flew over the area, but the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces continued to visit and evaluate themselves in depths of operational areas.

He also visited the coast of Euphrates in Al-Mayadin and Deir Ez-Zor and met with commanders and combatants in each region.

Maj. Gen. Bagheri said on the sidelines of the visit that foreigners must leave Syria, in an interview with IRIB News Agency emphasizing the complete elimination of terrorists from Syria's territory.

The crisis in Syria has begun since 2011 with the massive invasion of Saudi-backed terrorist groups, the US and their supporters, including the UAE, to change the region's equation in favor of the Zionist regime. Following this crisis, Syria urged Iran to help Damascus fight the terrorists.

Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri traveled to Syria on Sunday, March 17 to participate in the Tripartite Summit of the Chiefs of Staff of Iran, Iraq, and Syria, which regularly share counter-terrorism strategies. 208/103
