Intl. 100-Second film festival ends

The 12th international 100-Second film festival ended in Tehran on Friday with winning short films receiving prizes and awards.

Iran Press/Iran news: The closing ceremony of the 12th international 100-Second film festival took place at Hozeh Honari Andisheh Hall.

Several movies including 'Running Sushi' from Czech Republic were among selected ones in the 12th international 100-Second film festival, Iran Press reported.

A lineup of 33 movies from 19 countries, including Australia, Italy, Japan, England, the US, Spain, Turkey, Sweden, Portugal, Singapore and India, have participated in this year’s edition of the festival. 

Several workshops were organized on the sideline of the festival.

The Art Bureau of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization was the organizer of the festival.

On February 25, the director of the 12th International 100-Second Film Festival, Ali Qorbani, said that the festival is seeking to discover new film talent and help promising young filmmakers.  101/211/201
