Leader message is road map for development: Supreme Council of Economic Coordination
The Supreme Council of Economic Coordination stressed that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's message to the Iranian nation is a road map for development of the country in the fifth decade of the Islamic Revolution.
Iran Press/ Iran News: The Supreme Council of Economic Coordination convened on Sunday, chaired by President Hassan Rouhani, with heads of the other branches of the Iranian government also attending the meeting.
According to an Iran Press report, quoting the official website of president Rouhani, at the start of the meeting, the heads of the three branches expressed their gratitude to the Iranian nation and congratulated all those who took part in the massive rallies and marches marking the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution; the move that foiled all the plots of the enemies, dashing their hope.
The council stated that it considers the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's message to the Iranian nation as a road map for development and solidifying the Islamic Republic at the beginning of its fifth decade, and stressed on its full and exact implementation.
Participants in the meeting also assessed the current state of Iran's economy. A report outlined the price of basic and essential goods and services, and government efforts to regulate prices.
The Supreme Council also considered a proposal by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade for currency allocation, supporting low-income families and supporting their purchasing power.
The Supreme Council also made some necessary decisions for correcting and adjusting economic policies and empowering management authorities to ensure coordinated execution of the policies and supporting Iranian families.
The Supreme Council of Economic Coordination also approved a proposal by the Planning and Budget Organization for using legal means to speed-up payments of contractors for development projects and supporting job creation schemes, and supporting the manufacturing industry in the country. 212/ 211/103
