Iran Press/Iran news: In reaction to malicious and misleading statements by the former Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir in a news conference in Pakistan, Bahram Ghassemi said: "His cheap words will never change the reality that his country is the Godfather of Takfiri terrorism in the region and the world", IRNA news agency reported.
"Instead of blaming others and striving to divert public opinion from Saudi Arabia's undoubted role in creating and training Takfiri terror groups, he should stand accountable for deep-rooted terrorism within the country’s establishment as well the crimes it has been committing in Yemen and even in other countries of the region by hiring terrorists", Ghassemi advised the Saudi official.

Ghassemi said Jubeir had a long track record of 'manufacturing lies and harboring malice' against Iran and the Iranian people, saying his remarks did not make Riyadh any less liable for supporting terrorism.
"International human rights organizations have on several occasions directed public opinion towards Saudi Arabia’s obvious human rights violations, but the country is still supported by United States and the West in general," he said.

Western double-standards and support for the Saudi kingdom, however, would shield Riyadh from accountability for its actions, the foreign ministry spokesman concluded.
Wahhabism, the radical ideology dominating Saudi Arabia, is the source of Takfirism which is the practice of denouncing subscribers to other schools of thought as “apostates” and considering their lives to be expendable.
Takfiri terror groups such as al-Qaeda and Daesh (also known as ISIS) have been responsible for thousands of deaths throughout the world, but mostly in the Middle East region, over the past two decades.
