The annual 22 Bahman (11 February) rallies celebrating the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, with the massive participation of the Iranian people, made headlines around the world and was covered by many satellite broadcasters and mainstream media.

Iran Press/Iran news:  According to an Iran Press report, the 11 February (22 Bahman) rallies in support of the Islamic Revolution, with the massive turnout of the Iranian people in cities, towns and villages up and down the country, was widely covered by foreign media outlets, satellite broadcasters, and the press.

AP: Iranians mark anniversary of victory day in 1979 revolution

Associated Press reported that Iranian people massively turned out to celebrate the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Associated Press said hundreds of thousands of people, waving Iranian flags, chanting “Death to America” and burning US and Israeli flags, poured out onto the streets across Iran on Monday, marking the date that’s considered victory day in the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.

In Tehran, despite the rain, crowds streamed in from the capital’s far-flung neighborhoods to mass in the central Azadi, or Freedom Square.

Al-Masirah: Iranians condemned Saudi-led coalition crimes against Yemeni innocent people  

Al-Masirah reported that on Monday, the Iranian capital, Tehran, saw one million people in different rallies to mark the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Al-Masirah, Iranian demonstrators, had pictures of Yemeni victims of US-Saudi attacks on the country, condemning the aggressors' assaults on the Yemeni people.

Al Ahed news said Iranian people in 1000 cities and 10000 villages celebrated the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution, chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Isreal”.

Reuters reported that hundreds of thousands of Iranians marched to mark the revolution’s 40th anniversary on Monday.

It said soldiers, students, clerics and women holding small children thronged streets across Iran, many with portraits of late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
