Iran Press/Khorasan Razavi: In the wake of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (peace be upon her), 110 pots of thick winter soup, known as 'Shole Mashhadi' will be cooked and distributed among the less-well-off people in Mashhad.

Iran Press/Iran news: At the same time with ceremonies to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (peace be upon her), the daughter of Prophet of Islam, 110 pots of traditional food of Mashhad which is called 'Shole Mashhadi', will be cooked and distributed among the needy people in the city.

This traditional food will be ready by Saturday lunch-time, Iran Press reported.

The Mashhadi thick soup, known locally as Sholeh Mashhadi, is a special kind of broth locally-made in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad and its ingredients are meat, beans, and various spices.

In 1991, 'Shole Mashhadi' was registered by Khorasan Razavi Cultural Heritage office as a national dish. 103/211/207
