The Asian Paralympic Committee has chosen Iranian female runner Hajar Safarzadeh as the best Asian youth athlete of 2019.

Iran Press/Iran news: Majed Rashed, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee in a ceremony in Dubai on Tuesday, announced the names of best Asian Para athletes of 2019. Iranian female runner Hajar Safarzadeh was chosen as the best Asian youth athlete of the year.

Hajar Safarzadeh was chosen as the best Asian youth athlete of the year

Safarzadeh started her professional career in 2015, and became a member of Iran's national Athletics team.

Safarzadeh snatched 2 gold medals in Nottwil 2017 World Para Athletic Junior Championships in Switzerland in 200M Running and 400M Running.

She is the first Iranian sportswoman with impaired vision who has won the international gold medal.

At the ceremony in Dubai, Iranian Journalist Reza Joshaghani won the best photo journalist category. 101/ 211 /205
