Iranian Zarif meets Italian former PM in New Delhi

Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif met with a former Italian Prime Minister, on the sideline of an international forum in New Delhi, India.

Iranian foreign minister travelled to India for a three-day visit to participate at the "Raisina Dialogue", taking place in New Delhi.

The Dialogue is India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics and annually attracts high-level participants from all over the world.

Iranian Foreign Minister also met Indian Minister of Transport and Shipping 'Nitin Gadkari' discussed ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation, especially in the realm of transportation and shipping.

On Wednesday, Iran's FM will hold talks with his Indian counterpart, Sushma Swaraj on a host of issues such as oil imports from Tehran.

Apart from Zarif, Foreign Ministers of Japan, Australia and Mongolia are also visiting India, according to Indian media reports.

Dozens of senior CEOs and entrepreneurs, from both private and public sectors, have accompanied Mohammad Javad Zarif on the three-day official visit to New Delhi.
