Iranian Foreign Minister reacted humorously to the US and Israel's decision to withdraw from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Iran Press/Iran newsReferring to the withdrawal of the government of "Donald Trump" from international agreements and treaties, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday suggested on Twitter that the United States and Israel should leave from planet Earth, Iran Press reported.

"After JCPOA, NAFTA, TPP, Climate Convention & ..., the Trump regime along with the Israeli regime, today officially withdrew from UNESCO. Is anything left for the Trump Administration and its client regime to withdraw from? Perhaps from planet Earth altogether?”, Zarif tweeted.

The United States and the Zionist regime officially left UNESCO on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

The US foreign ministry under the pretext of UNESCO's anti-Israeli approaches, announced on Oct. 12, 2017 that it will leave the organization.

On the same day, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu also ordered the regime's foreign ministry to prepare for the departure of Israel from UNESCO.

Following the Palestine membership in UNESCO, the US cut off its aids to the organization.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), emphasized in a resolution on January 4. 2017 that Israel has no ownership of Jerusalem al-Quds.
