Iranian MP stressed that next fiscal year budget is currently being considered by the parliament based on current situation for better management of country and confronting America's illegal and unjust sanctions.

Iran press / Iran news: "Next year budget is under review and scrutiny in special commissions in the Parliament to refer it to commission of consolidation" member of Planning and Budget Commission of Iran's Parliament (Majlis) said in exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency.

Mohammad Mehdi Mofatteh said "in this budget bill, the government has set two budget ceilings, the first ceiling is 407 trillion tomans for realizing revenues and government's payments; and the second ceiling which is 447 trillion tomans is assigned to current costs. These budget ceilings are set for better management of the country and confronting US illegal and unjust sanctions".

Member of Parliament's Planning and Budget committee added that "current costs for next fiscal year is 320 trillion tomans which has 9 percent increase in comparison with previous year; despite all restrictions, 62 trillion tomans have assigned for development budget which is unchanged with comparison to previous year".

"Also 25 trillion tomans budget has also been assigned for possession of properties and issuing participation bond for next year's budget that has shown 18 percent decrease compared to last year" Mofatteh said.

Iranian MP continued "in resources and revenues sectors, the government has anticipated an income of 126 trillion tomans from taxes, and due to sanctions, the forecast for oil exports is one and half million barrel per day at a price of $ 54 dollars per barrel, taken as the average price of each barrel for calculation purposes."

He said "according to sixth five-year development plan, the withdrawal from the National Development Fund must be about 34 percent, but due to current situation and sanctions, and to help the government, it has been decided to withdraw just 20 percent from the fund."

The senior MP also referred to basic and staple goods (food, medical equipment and livestock's food and agricultural products), 4200 toman is calculated for every dollar; accordingly 14 billion toman has allocated to government for basic goods supply.  212/ 211 / 103
