Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council said that the terrorist groups had been created by powers beyond the borders to be used as strategic tools.

Iran Press/Iran news: "By paying attention carefully to US President Donald Trump's remarks during the country's presidential election it can be understood that former US officials were the real creators of Taliban and ISIS," Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani noted.

According to Iran Press, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council made the remarks in an exclusive interview with IRIB News Agency.

Today we are facing a situation that fighting strongly with persistent terrorists which only have dividing role in Islamic community, becomes very important," Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Rear Admiral noted.

"Also we should talk with those groups that are ready to put their arms down and stand beside Afghani people. So we have this approach at the table, but those who create terrorist groups in Afghanistan are against it," Shamkhani said.

"We have a definite knowledge that ISIS which have been defeated in the Levant is becoming close to Afghanistan's borders with clear support of those who do not like to see Afghani people in peace. The reason of those power for supporting terrorism is that the reason of their presences in the region is related to the existence of terrorism," Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Rear Admiral added.
