The speaker of Iran's parliament, has emphasized the need for publicizing the Zionist regime's on-going crimes against Palestinians as much as possible.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a meeting with members of a Palestinian delegation, Ali Larijani has stressed the need for publicizing Israeli crimes, and supporting the cause of Palestine.

Larijani met with a Palestinian parliamentary delegation in Tehran on Saturday, led by Mahmoud al-Zahar, the co-founder and member of the Hamas leadership in Gaza, Tasnim News Agency reported.

Larijani denounced and condemned Israel's crimes and atrocities against innocent Palestinians.

The speaker of parliament expressed hope that regional countries as well as the wider international community, would boost its support for the Palestinian cause.

At the meeting, Mahmoud al-Zahar praised Iran for supporting Palestine and officially invited Larijani to pay a visit to Gaza.

Zahar then praised Iran’s opposition to the resolutions that the US proposes against Palestine in the United Nations.

In recent months, Gaza witnessed the worst flare-up of violence since the 2014 war. The violence broke out when the Israeli military launched an undercover raid against Gaza.

Gaza has been under a crippling Israeli-imposed siege since 2007 and witnessed three wars since 2008. It has also witnessed a fresh wave of tensions since 30 March 2018, which marked the start of “The Great March of Return” protests.
