Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement Sheikh Naeem Qassem said that the movement defeated Israel by focusing on Palestine and al-Quds Issues.

Iran PressIran news: By saying that American imperialism is in the front line of suppression and crimes in the world, Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement Sheikh Naeem Qassem noted: "Israel occupied Palestinian territories in order to block the development of the region."

Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement made the remarks at the 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, Iran Press reported.

By describing Israel as "the axis of evil", Sheikh Naeem Qassem said that Zionist regime's goal is to divide the region, and to cause rifts between Islamic nations.

On 17 November, Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement Sheikh Naeem Qassem described the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman as 'the triangle of evil'. 

Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement added that Israel, Saudi Arabia and US are united together against Palestine and al-Quds.

"If we seek the freedom of our next generation, we should become united over al-Quds issue," Sheikh Naeem Qassem noted.

"Israeli regime has been defeated in the direct wars and confrontations and it lost many of its' Takfiri elements in different countries," Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement said.

"Unification is the way to triumph, and we can determine our power against the enemies of Islam," Sheikh Naeem Qassem concluded.

The 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference opened in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Saturday morning with high-ranking officials from Muslim countries as well as Shiite and Sunni scholars in attendance.

The aim of this three-day international event is to lay the ground for unity and solidarity in the Islamic World and unison among scholars in order to achieve proximity among their scientific and cultural viewpoints.

The 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference was inaugurated by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The conference came as Muslims are celebrating the Unity Week, which is an annual occasion as a sign of solidarity among different Islamic schools of thought. The birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will start this week on Sunday.

The theme of the conference is ‘Quds pivot of Islamic unity’ and 350 foreign guests, including 10 ministers and 40 Muftis from Muslim states are taking part in the 32nd Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran. 101/201
