Iran News: According to an Iran Press report, 230 Iranian parliamentarians review a proposed amendment to this years' budget law (1397 solar Hijri year), review a bill to establish a naval industries armed force, review a report on the status of employed and unemployed persons, with emphasis on providing support for both groups.
Also on Tuesday's agenda is review a bill on supporting children and teenagers, continued review of a bill on how to use, maintain and monitor a computer point-of-sale shopping system, adjusting (fine tuning) a plan for financial and administrative support and regulation of the Ministry of Education, and a demand by some members of the parliament for a comprehensive urban management plan.
Majlis approves setting up of Organization of naval industries armed forces
The Iranian parliament, Majlis, gives the go-ahead for founding of an Organization of naval industries armed forces. The Organization will be run as a government-owned company, and will be affiliated to, and a subsidiary of, the ministry of defense.
Majlis calls for continuing investigation into CBI activities
The Iranian parliament has called for an investigation and inquiry into the activities of the Central Bank of Iran to continue.
MP for Shahin Shahr, Isfahan province, Hossein Ali Haji Deligani is following up on the issue of CBI investigation, with the speaker of the parliament, Ali Larijani, insisting that the investigation is on-going.
Earlier, senior MP Haji Deligani had claimed the investigation into the activities of the Central Bank of Iran had been suspended, but speaker Larijani assured him that "it was very much an on-going investigation".
