Referral ceremony of Mohammad Shariatmadari as Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare was held in Tehran.

Iran Press/Iran News: The referral ceremony was held in Tehran in the presence of Iran's First Vice President Eshagh Jahangiri, Iran Press reported. 

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani appointed Mohammad Shariatmadari as Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare.

In Oct. 27, the Iranian parliament approved all four of president Rouhani's nominees for ministerial posts, with all four candidates obtaining the required vote of confidence from the Majlis.

Mohammad Shariatmadari was given a vote of confidence by the parliament (Majlis), becoming the new minister of cooperatives, labour and social welfare. Out of a total of 264 MPs, 196 MPs voted for Shariatmadari,  63 MPs voted against him, and 5 MPs abstained from voting. 101/204
