According to an Iran Press report, after a long and lengthy debate on Saturday, the actual vote of confidence took place just after 10:00 pm Tehran time.
Reza Rahmani was given a vote of confidence by the Majlis, becoming the new minister for industry, mines and trade. Out of a total of 265 MPs, 203 MPs voted in his favour, 49 against, and 13 MPs abstained from voting.
Farhad Dezhpasand was given a vote of confidence by the parliament (Majlis), becoming the new minister of economy and finance. Out of a total of 265 MPs, 200 MPs voted for Dezhpasand, 50 MPs voted against him, and 15 MPs abstained from voting.
Mohammad Shariatmadari was given a vote of confidence by the parliament (Majlis), becoming the new minister of cooperatives, labour and social welfare. Out of a total of 264 MPs, 196 MPs voted for Shariatmadari, 63 MPs voted against him, and 5 MPs abstained from voting.
Mohammad Eslami was given a vote of confidence by the parliament (Majlis), becoming the new minister of housing, road and urban development. Out of a total of 257 MPs, 151 MPs voted in his favour, 98 MPs voted against him, and 8 MPs abstained from voting.
All of president Rouhani's proposed ministers were eventually approved by the Iranian parliament on Saturday night, after many hours of debating by MPs both for and against each candidate.
