Thus in this regard, today, we are unveiling the emergency and crisis management project and the passive defense project, for the port of Imam Khomeini in Khuzestan province and Shahid Rajaie port in Hormozgan province which are two very important commercial ports in this country."

The deputy minister for roads and urban development added: "So it is natural that we draw up contingency plans, commensurate with the threats that we are facing in our commercial ports. We should plan and implement decent projects to protect our commercial ports against any threats. As General Jalali mentioned the infrastructures and facilities must be made available and we must be prepared and undertake exercises, to be able to supply the country's needs in terms of maritime and port facilities in an emergency and crisis situation."
