Iran Press/Iran News: Pointing out his meeting with Pakistani officials, Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed hope that the efforts to liberate Iranian abducted border guards can be fruitful.
At the end of his trip to Pakistan, Iran's foreign minister added: "Tehran and Islamabad are determined to increase their efforts to prevent such incidents in the future."
Zarif said, Iran and Pakistan also agreed to enhance cooperation in different areas.

He also said, Pakistan has pledged on several occasions to secure the release of kidnapped Iranian border-guards.
Zarif reiterated, Iran and Pakistan are two good neighbours which have positive relations and Pakistani side has pledged to do everything it can, using all means at its disposal, to secure the release of the abducted border guards.
Iran's foreign minister said, "We also discussed ways to expand bilateral ties in different areas, especially in energy, regional issues, including Yemen and Afghanistan, and other topics of interest."
Pointing out Pakistani prime minister's proposal for ending the war against Yemeni people, Zarif added we also discussed the Yemen crisis and also the war in Afghanistan.
