The Tehran football club Persepolis has gone through to the final of the AFC Champions League 2018, after an exciting 1-1 draw with Al-Sadd of Qatar.

Iran Press/Iran: In previous match, Persepolis defeated the Qatari team in Doha 1-0. The final result was a win for Persepolis who went through with 2-1 aggregate to the final of the Asian football tournament. 

The Persepolis fans who had packed the Azadi stadium were ecstatic as their team claimed a place in the final  of the Asian football tournament. 

The first goal for the Qatari squad was scored in 17th minute of the match  in the first half, while the equalizer for Persepolis was scored in the 49th minute into the second half.

Despite Al-Sadd's best efforts to win, the game remained a draw until the end, and the Reds (Persepolis) were ultimately able to finish first in their group, and will now meet a rival from East Asia in the final.
