In an exclusive interview Iran Press on Tuesday , Malmir outlined his plans to boost and promote tourism.
He said: "An association of various organizations have organized fifty or so events, some to be held internationally, whilst other events will be held either at a national or provincial level. All of these events will bring in financial benefits to the province, and "raise the profile of Hamadan province through advertising".
The head of tourism, cultural heritage and handicrafts organization of Hamedan added: "We have two important big events ahead of us, one of which is the 'Hamedan International conference 2018' is going to be held on 27 August 2018, and the other is "The Assembly of 40 members associated with World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and is going to be held internationally on 12 November 2018. It is a good opportunity not just for Hamedan but also for the whole country as well in order to introduce the different capacities and tourist attraction sites of Hamedan. And Hamedan with a history spanning more than 500 years, and as the center of history and civilization, and one of the most picturesque provinces of the country is ready to hold this event.
Malmir added: "I want to ask all media to introduce the public to Hamedan's high potential for tourism, historical monuments, natural beauty, a center for arts and handicrafts, because it is not just about Hamedan, rather it will benefit the entire country, it is a national subject."
