'The world needs peace, stability and security more than ever, and its path is political, security and military dialogue to reach mutual understanding, eliminate the misunderstandings and, eventually, finding a solution,' said Shamkhani at the 9th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues in Sochi, southwest Russia.
Shamkhani added, 'Wars should be ended and instead of coalitions for was, coalitions for peace and fraternity should be formed.'
Emphasizing that no crisis will be solved with wars in today's world, he added, 'One can decisively say that in all the current crises, including those in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Korean peninsula, there are no solutions, except political ones.'
He also said that the US has one third of the world weaponry market, and it sells 70% of it to the Middle East.
Referring to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), better known as Iran nuclear deal, he said that the JCPOA is a quintessential example of solving problems through talks and negotiations to end a crisis.
'What is more important than reaching an agreement is staying committed to it,' said Shamkhani.
'Unfortunately, now we see that the current administration of the US is not only ridiculing the previous one's commitment, but it also tramples his country's bilateral and international commitments, including the JCPOA.'
'In the present meeting attended by representatives of more than 100 countries, I, as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announce that whatever agreement Europe and the US make regarding the future of the nuclear deal and Iran's nuclear program after the end of the limitations, stated in the JCPOA, is of no credit or value to Iran.'
He added, 'Their dream about Iran will never come true; renegotiating about the time of terminations of the limitations equals the deal's death because cancelling the limitations and normalizing Iran's nuclear procedure is an important part of the commitments made to Iran in the international deal.'
Shamkhani also said that the orders ruling the international relations are being disrupted and the path is toward violence.
Regarding Palestine, he said that the US' recognition of the Holy Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime is not in line with solving the Palestinian crisis; what's more, it ignites another war in Palestine.
The US President Donald Trump said in his presidential campaign that he was going to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy Quds. And on December 6, 2017, he announced that he is going to relocate the embassy soon.
'In the field of security, instability in one region or country will spread to others,' Shamkhani said.
The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council said, 'The dialogue between the opposing groups that have accepted the ceasefire in Syria is supported by the region and the world.'
'The only arena which is not included in negotiations is terrorism … of course, it should not be allowed that the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of the countries be violated under the pretext of fighting terrorism.'
He also said that Iran, as the founder of Dialogue among Civilizations, is ready to use its power and capacity to solve regional crises and try seriously and effectively to fight terrorism with the participation of the regional countries.
'Iran has already accepted the Syrian and Iraqi legal governments, and fought Daesh alongside them.'
He hoped that the high-ranking security officials discuss the most serious international security challenges and find suitable solutions for the crises.
The 9th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues is held in Sochi, Russia, 25-26 April.
