The contenders competed in four categories, namely Quran recitation, memorization and Quranic concepts as well as Adhan (call to prayers).
A number of Quran experts, including Ahmad Abolqassemi, Mehdi Qarasheikhlu and Abdulvahid Jafarzadeh, served as the panel of judges.
The center hosted the event on Friday and Saturday.
