Iran Press/ Iran News: The Iranian president said that his French counterpart's efforts would work if US president Donald Trump lifted sanctions against Iran, then it would be possible to negotiate in the form of a 5+1 group.
The Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday morning in New York at a meeting with senior US media managers said: "The continuation of sanctions, which have been enforced under maximum pressure, is a prerequisite for the US in order to negotiate, while in our view, first, any preconditions must be removed."
Iran's president Rouhani added: "It is a shame that the basis for accusing Iran of attacking Aramco is simply that they do not want the Yemeni army to have the military capability to launch missile and drone strikes." He also stated that it means those accusing Iran have no realistic estimation of the Yemeni military developments, they have closed their eyes and are merely speculating.
Iranian President continued: "The weakness of the radar and the defences of the massive US equipment on the claimed route of these missiles and drones cannot be denied and the Yemenis have in fact humiliated the US and warned Saudi suppliers of weapons."
Iranian President is in New York to attend the 74th United Nations General Assembly and to do diplomacy with head of states on the sideline of the U.N gathering. 207/219
