Iran Press/Iran news: During his two-day visit to the province, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is to inaugurate several development projects in infrastructure, health and treatment, telecommunications, industry, and agriculture.
Upon arrival at Sardar Jangal Airport on Wednesday, Rouhani was welcomed by the Supreme Leader’s Representative to Gilan Province and Rasht Friday Prayer’s Imam, Governor General of Gilan Province, members of parliament and a number of local officials, Iran Press reported.
Opening a number of projects and attending the session of development and investment of the province, as well as session of the administrative council of Gilan Province are among Rouhani’s programs for the two-day visit.
Iranian President said at the airport: “This visit is taking place for opening very important projects in the province, which had been promised to people in the last visit.”
“Opening Qazvin-Rasht Railway and starting the Rasht-Astara Railway project are among the most important projects,” he said.
The President added: “In the session of the Administrative Council of Gilan Province, other projects will also be decided upon.” 101/201
