Iranian ambassador to the the International Atomic Energy Agency

Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna said: The only way to keep Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is the fulfillment of commitments by all parties, and the European parties should curb the destructive role of the United States in implementing this agreement, rather than criticizing Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Kazim Gharibabadi on Thursday's meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors through outlining Tehran's latest position on 'The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action' (JCPOA) and related developments stated: Instead of criticizing Iran for reducing its nuclear commitments, Europe must prevent the continued destructive role of the United States and its efforts to destroy deal in order to preserve the most important diplomatic achievement of European sides.

He also dismissed the allegations regarding the risk of proliferation of Iranian nuclear activities and added: "Raising these issues will not stop Iran from exercising its rights under its national agenda," Iran Press reported.

Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna also rejected the US claim to negotiate with Iran and stated that the US political gesture aims to evade its responsibilities in adhering to international commitments, and basically, as Iran has repeatedly stated, nuclear weapons have no place in Iran's defense and security policies and doctrines.

Gharibabadi added: "despite the US claims regarding Iran's nuclear activities Tehran has shown good faith in fulfilling all its obligations under the nuclear agreement and as the world has witnessed, the IAEA has consistently certified Iran's full compliance with the agreement."

Following the US officials' lies against Iran, US envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Jackie Walcott, after accusing Iran once more on the IAEA Thursday meeting, claimed the United States tends to negotiate with Iran without preconditions. In her statement, Walcott while voiced concern over Iran's nuclear activities, claimed that Tehran's nuclear activities are now deeply troubling.

The US envoy expressed her concern while Washington unilaterally withdrew unilaterally from the deal on May 8, 2018, and violated its commitments under the agreement, despite Iran's adherence to the terms of the nuclear agreement.

Iran announced that it suspends part of its obligations under this agreement.on May 8, 2019, a year after the US unilateral withdrawal from the nuclear deal and unfolding inefficiency of European solutions proposed to offset the economic consequences of US withdrawal from JCPOA.

Reducing Iran's commitments is through four steps includes: raising its uranium enrichment rate to 3.67 percent, increasing its uranium reserves, stopping all its R&D commitments, and starting uranium enrichment and reprocessing at Fordow's nuclear facilities.

Tehran announced that it will cease its reduction of commitments if all parties to the nuclear deal adhere to JCPOA.
